Social Selling Content Development Provided to NC State University Technology Training Solutions

RALEIGH, N.C. - Oct. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Greg Hyer and Martin Brossman of Linking Into Sales were honored to be content contributors to NC State University Technology Training Solutions’ Social Selling training for the world’s largest provider of open-source software, Red Hat.

NCSU’s Technical Training Solutions unit was asked to develop a Social Selling class for Red Hat’s sales employees. Martin Brossman and Greg Hyer worked with Karen Tiede and Holly Sullenger to develop a six-hour classroom course accompanied by an additional six hours of homework projects to be completed outside of the class.

Holly Sullenger, Assistant Director of TTS, and Karen Tiede, content contributor and trainer, traveled to Mountain View, CA to introduce the material to a selected group of sales staff from that office. Evaluation of the course included comments that indicated the content in the course was helpful and well received.

Greg Hyer of Linking into Sales points out, “The buyer’s journey is now traveled online. The traditional sales approach of cold calling is becoming less and less effective. Social Selling techniques help sales professionals adapt to this change in behavior and become more effective. This training sets these people on that path.”
