Impact Founder Project Launches As A Part of Denver Startup Week

New photography project, featuring the real stories of 35 Denver business founders and entrepreneurs, launches at Galvanize Platte Street on Monday, Sept. 28.

DENVER - Sept. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Impact Founder, a photography based project that address the real experience entrepreneurs have as founders, is excited to announce its launch today at Denver Startup Week. The project is creating a conversation around authentic entrepreneurship so founders don't have to struggle with mental health, and feel disconnected and lonely in their experiences, where in extreme cases this can lead to suicide.

“Entrepreneurs often internalize our challenges, and in extreme cases it can lead to depression and suicide,” said Kristin Darga, founder of Impact Founder. ”We are creating a movement around authentic entrepreneurship, shifting the current conversation to build transparency among peers in the industry through sharing what’s really happening.”

Thirty-five local entrepreneurs and business founders are sharing their stories and being featured in Impact Founder’s premiere exhibit. Throughout Denver Startup Week you will be able to see the exhibit and join the conversation in the following way:

      ·        A photo exhibit is being hosted by Galvanize (1644 Platte Street) Monday, Sept. 28 through Friday, Oct. 2, 2015 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m

·        A slideshow of the founders involved in the project will be playing at The Commons on Champa (1245 Champa Street) throughout the week

·        The Rogue Launch Party is being held as a part of the Startup Crawl at Galvanize (1644 Platte Street, 4th floor) on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015 from 7-10 p.m.

·        A partial exhibit featuring 10 founders will be held at Denver Startup Week’s Basecamp (1515 Arapahoe Street) on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 from 1-6 p.m.

Additionally, a photo booth is set-up at Galvanize’s Platte Street location for the Denver business community to participate and create a conversation among peers in the startup community.
