Manner Polymers Grants $50,000 to Communities In Schools to Help Kids in McKinney

 
DALLAS - Sept. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Manner Polymers granted $50,000 to Communities in Schools Dallas Region, Inc. (CISDR) to help students at Caldwell Elementary in McKinney Independent School District (ISD). This generous donation is part of an ongoing commitment to the CISDR program at Caldwell. Thanks to Manner Polymers’ philanthropy, CISDR will be able to further its mission of surrounding students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.

“We are happy to be able to support the great work of Communities In Schools in partnership with McKinney ISD and serving the most challenged children in the community,” said Manner Polymers Owner Raj Bhargava, who was on hand to present CISDR with a check for $50,000.

As a member of the CISDR Board of Directors, Raj Bhargava plays an important role in helping the organization fulfill its mission as an active member of the local McKinney community. Director of LegacyTexas Bank, he serves as the chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee, as well as a member of the advisory board of Hill & Wilkinson, a Dallas based general contractor. Mr. Bhargava has previously served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce and is a past President of the Board of Governors of Eldorado Country Club.

Over the last six years, Manner Polymers has given over $20,000 to support the Communities In Schools program in McKinney ISD. Thanks to their generous dedication to community, CISDR will be able to keep working with Caldwell Elementary students for many years to come.
