Author And Inspiration Behind Hit Character Cookie Lyon Release Tell All Book

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, California (September 21, 2015) – Tia Gold is releasing a tell all about her life of crime, notorious gangsters, and being the muscle and driving force behind some of the industries most powerful and influential men. Not only will the book highlight her inspiration for Fox's hit television show Empire, but will also give insight into things that, until now, were unknown to anyone not involved.

The tell all book entails how she groomed Dana Gold, a young Jewish kid, into becoming her documented, drug kingpin husband. They later became entangled with former President Bill Clinton's controversial Pardongate scandal. In 1989, she met Suge Knight, with whom she invested a small fortune of her rolling 80's proceeds. To avoid being charged with murder in 1990, Tia went on the run, thus losing touch with Knight and a few years later, Death Row(e) was born.

Gold says that by the time her and Knight, who is the inspiration for Empire's Lucious Lyon character, reunited, he had become an entertainment mogul who adopted a fake gangster persona just as large. Despite, receiving death threats, she breaks her silence on never before mentioned details surrounding the life and death of the late, great Tupac Shakur. Gold, has witnessed such things as, Knight being "punked" by actor Sean Penn, in a failed attempt, by Knight to extort Penn.

Readers will become acquainted with Gold's three sons, all of whom inspired the son’s roles on Empire. Che Rogers, her adopted God-son, Donovan Gold, the oldest, and her youngest son, Andrew Knight, who is gay and raised by Knight, with whom he shares the same birthdate, April 19.
