Ticket prices are: General Admission - $20.00; Seniors - $15.00; Student- $5.00. A portion of the proceeds of tickets purchased through the Historical Society will benefit the Drake House Museum and Society's mission. Tickets are also available for purchase from Crescent Concerts (http://crescentconcerts.org/ About Historical Society of Plainfield In 1921 a group of citizens came together to save the Nathaniel Drake house from demolition. That group, The West End Civic Association, became the Historical Society of Plainfield and in 1922 they deeded the Drake House to the City of Plainfield, "for the purpose of establishing a museum for the citizens of Plainfield". About Crescent Concerts Begun in 1980 as a modest concert series centered on the Church Choir, Crescent Concerts has matured into a multi-disciplinary presentation of vocal, instrumental, choral and orchestral music bringing high quality musical events to the residentsof the City of Plainfield and surrounding communities. Funding has been possible in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment of the Arts, through a grant administered by the Union County Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.
