Simi Valley / Los Angeles  -  As I made my daily commute from Wine Country, through the I-5 corridor in route to Los Angeles, I made it a  point to inquire about California's newest star Serena Foster.  For the past week I've been hypnotized by the her single "More than Friends",  which is winning over airwaves at a alarming rate.  From the  delivery and lyrical content, I knew there was something special about this Californian star.  As I learned from my connections within the local LA music scene, the momentum is mounting for a new sound, a new voice, And Serena Foster is the name!  Serena started singing at age five and began writing music on guitar by age nine, which holds apparent in her music.  From the artistic direction of her music videos to the  unorthodox writing style,  Serena is on the verge of capturing the hearts and minds of the masses.  Of Course, as I later learned, there is a method behind the madness....every great artist  must be accompanied by a great band - In steps Two-time Emmy winner Lars Deutsch whom serves not only as producer, but also the key element to the band.  With her dubbed partner in crime, Lars Deutsch(Powered by his Built to last Music)  the perfect ingredients to a well served cuisine of music, for a sound sure to tantalize the ear.  Serena Fosters upcoming debut CD "California".
