PRLog -- Coach Mike Dormady, Head Football coach at Boerne (TX) High School has taken his teaching to a new level. After 20+ years of coaching quarterbacks he is now doing more individual quarterback training. Developing quarterbacks is something Dormady is very passionate about. He says it’s a “dying art” and wants to help young men reach their full potential and, hopefully, reach their dreams of playing beyond high school. He has been fortunate enough to coach his own (quarterback)
son, Quinten Dormady, who is currently striving to achieve his dreams at the University of Tennessee. But even before Quinten was under his tutelage, Coach Dormady has worked with many college-bound quarterbacks. He enjoys teaching the fundamentals of the position and has spent numerous hours watching film, learning new teaching techniques, developing and adapting drills and analyzing successful players of the position.
However, it’s not just about arm mechanics and footwork. He trains QB’s on the mental part of the game as well. He breaks QB development into his 3 Commandments:
leadership, decision-making and accuracy. He feels the mental aspect of the position is extremely important to any quarterbacks success. To learn more about Dormady’s Elite Passing Academy and how he develops D1 athletes go to
