LVIP Dining Hosts Special Event at Mundo the Restaurant of the Month

LAS VEGAS - Aug. 29, 2015 - PRLog -- - LVIP Dining, a dining club that partners with restaurants and Three Square to feed hungry children in Southern Nevada will be hosting its Restaurant of the Month special event on Monday, September 21 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. The event will be held at Mundo located at 495 S. Grand Central Parkway in the downtown World Market Center.  Channel 8 News Consumer Reporter Michelle Mortensen will be the featured guest speaker.

Admission is free and includes live music, complimentary Alien Tequila tasting tables and entry into the LVIP Dining raffle.  Attendees will “pay as they go” for any other food or drinks that they order and for each person that attends this special event LVIP Dining will feed a child in need for the day.

“We want to inspire people to support our social venture which is about ending childhood hunger in Southern Nevada,” said Evan Green, the Founder of LVIP Dining. “Hunger is much more widespread in the Las Vegas Valley than most people realize. In fact 58% of Clark County School District kids require free or subsidized meals.  Mundo has been extremely supportive in our quest to end childhood hunger in the Las Vegas area. Beyond feeding 3 meals to a child in need for every LVIP Dining member who dines at Mundo during the months of August & September 2015, Mundo is donating 10% of all Alien Tequila bottle sale proceeds to Three Square which will feed a lot of children who would otherwise be left hungry.”

Three Square is Las Vegas’ only food bank and their mission is to provide wholesome food to hungry people while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community.

Mundo’s founders are former mayoral candidate George Harris, restauranteur Mingo Collaso and award winning chef Robert Solano. Mundo is a chic Latin restaurant that serves upscale Mexican dishes and is called “a culinary haute spot” for a reason. LVIP Dining is a members-only dining club where the distinct restaurants of Las Vegas offer exclusive dining specials to the wonderful people of Las Vegas.
