Visual Paradigm 12.2 Strengthened their Search Support

Aug. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Searching is nearly a must-have function in modern software. You search an email in mail program, search a post in a forum, search texts in document editor, etc. Likewise, searching is a significant function in visual modeling software in that it helps designer find out the desired diagram or model elements to view and edit. Visual Paradigm supported searching in Project Browser, which enabled user to find out the diagram and model elements that matched the queries. Starting from version 12.2, user can also search for shape(s) directly in a diagram.

The new search feature will appear at the bottom of a diagram. User can input search query and hit the Enter key to perform a quick search on the active diagram. Shapes’ name matching the search query will be found. User can browse through the search results to find the shape they want. With the new search feature, the relevance and efficiency of searching are both increased.
