Emmy Nominated Shade VFX Names Lisa Maher Executive ProducerVFX team behind Netflix’s Daredevil anticipates Emmy results; Maher expands her role.
By: CW3PR Maher assumes her new role at a particularly momentous time for her and her colleagues as shade VFX approaches Emmy season having garnered a nomination in the Outstanding Special Effects in a Supporting Role category for Netflix series Daredevil. Maher joined the shade VFX team in 2013, boasting 20+ years in the film industry, primarily producing visual effects for facilities such as Rhythm & Hues and CIS-Hollywood. She completed production on over 25 feature films before transitioning into Business Development. She worked for Dr. D. Studios and Fuel VFX prior to joining shade. In her two years as Business Development Executive, Maher’s focus has been on fostering collaborative, trusting relationships with new and existing clients. "Being part of the shade team has been such a rewarding experience,” Maher emphasizes that her key goals won’t change. “Focusing on the needs of our clients will still be my primary mission. They are in post-production for a number of projects at this time, including Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, to be released in 2016.
