LazyLad had earlier secured $100K from GHV accelerator in early May this year. The company is located in Gurgaon and has three IIT’ian minds behind their success as co-founders: In just a month of operations, it has got 1,700 downloads, 25 orders a day and 80% repeat orders. As if now the app has 70 service providers on its network across six categories including groceries, fruits and vegetables, stationary and flowers. Apart from forging ahead with their plans to provide the service across India, the co-founders are also exploring the possibility of launching the app in other developing countries like Indonesia, South Africa - with a population of 249 million and 53 million resp., and a market worth of $13 billion and €62 billion resp. Currently their ambitious global expansion plan is to launch in at least 10 to 12 countries in the next 3 years. “It was a great challenge to distinguish the app from the millions of other mCommerce Applications in the market and so a very engaging UI became a key requirement for the app to beat out the competition. We made use of user friendly features, creative designs and easy home delivery order screen, thus achieved a smoother using experience for the app on the whole” iOS Developer, LazyLad. Here you can get its iOS version - http://www.nztgrp.com/ “I think placing only the required features at the appropriate places was the key to the success of the app. We focused on the clarity of the applications and hence made sure to avoid placing unwanted options at inappropriate places that might confuse a user.” Desinger, lazyLad. “Good designs don't happen by chance instead through research. That's why we strive to know even the minutest of details to construct sensible, compelling, and intuitive application design. And that is how we made LazyLad App” – Tushar Goyal, CEO, NZT Solutions.
