UK's First National Restoration Day Launched by Preloved

NORTHWICH, U.K. - Aug. 18, 2015 - PRLog -- The UK's first national Restoration Day is taking place on Saturday 22nd August 2015, launched by the UK's second largest classified ad site, Preloved.co.uk. The Preloved community is passionate about everything to do with the second hand market, from finding a bargain in their local area, to hunting out much loved antique treasures nationwide.

Second hand isn't second best, and Preloved believe it is important to encourage buyers and sellers to re-use and recycle items to help reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill every year. Second hand items can be found on Preloved nearly new, but for those that need a little TLC, you can restore items back to value whilst saving yourself money in the process, and this is what Restoration Day is all about.

The Preloved community already celebrate the joy of second hand every year on National Second Hand Day, and the Preloved team often shares inspiring upcycling ideas, but Preloved wants to promote the value that can be found in restoration.
