TFC delivers unkabogable entertainment via sold-out ‘Vice Gandang Ganda sa Sarili in Tokyo’

MINATO-KU, Japan - Aug. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- The Filipino Channel (TFC) successfully brought Vice Ganda’s blockbuster concert series “Vice Gandang Ganda Sa Sarili” to a full house Hibiya Kokaido Hall recently with the ‘Unkabogable Star’ Vice Ganda bringing tons of laughter and novelty music to kababayans in the ‘Land of the Rising Sun.’

The premier network welcomed thousands of Filipino supporters and fans eager to see 'Unkabogable Vice Ganda’s comic antics and stellar performances for which he is known for.  The sold-out, no-holds-barred concert brought the crowd to a cheery mood from start to finish with the star’s unique brand of entertainment.

Bringing out his #ProudToBeMe slogan, Vice Ganda delivered his own renditions of songs of empowerment such as “Beautiful” by Christina Aguilera and “Perfect” by Pink.

Ladies were also in for a treat when Kapamilya star Rayver Cruz showed off his sexy dance moves in his performance of Brandon Beal’s “Twerk It Like Miley.” Proving that he is a total performer, Cruz connected with the audience when he performed John Legend’s “All of Me” and Nick Jonas’ “Jealous,” serenading the ladies in the venue.  Comedians MC and Lassy also brought roaring laughter to the crowd with their funny antics and gimmicks.

The ‘Unkabogable Star’ shared during the concert that it was really his and TFC’s intention to bring the concert to Tokyo because Filipinos have been longing for the kind of comedy he brings to the table.  “Ang concert na ito ay para sa inyo, madlang people sa Tokyo. Sa araw-araw na pagta-trabaho ninyo at sa layo niyo sa Pilipinas, you deserve an entertainment like this at happy ako na napapasaya ko kayo sa munting palabas na ito. (This concert is for you Filipinos in Tokyo. You deserve an entertainment like this for your hard work and for withstanding the distance from home.  I’m very happy that I am able to bring you joy through this concert).”

Managing Director for Asia Pacific of ABS-CBN Global, Ltd. Philippine Branch na Ailene Averion affirms that events like “Vice Gandang Ganda Sa Sarili in Tokyo” are TFC’s gift to overseas Filipinos who are miles away from the homeland.  “When you are away from home, struggling for the future of your family and enduring the hardships, working overseas can make you lose track of time, and forget simple reasons to celebrate.  Through TFC’s events, we hope to bring a smile to our kababayans in our own way.”  Averion adds, Vice Ganda is a perfect example of someone who once got separated from his loved ones but learned to make the most out of life through laughter which we at TFC also aim to deliver.”

Vice Ganda also said that he is looking forward to more international shows to bring laughter to Filipinos outside the Philippines.
