Follow on Google News | Quality consignments are now being accepted for Shannon's Fine Art Auctioneers' Oct. 29th auctionQuality consignments are currently being accepted for what is shaping up to be a banner fine art auction slated for Thursday, Oct. 29, at Shannon’s Fine Art Auctioneers, in the firm’s gallery located at 354 Woodmont Road in Milford, Connecticut.
By: Shannon's Fine Art Auctioneers These will include an oil on wood by Everett Shinn (Am., 1876-1953), an early fall landscape by Jasper F. Cropsey (Am., 1823-1900), a collage by modernist and pop artist Nicholas Krushenick (Am., 1929-1999), and a beautiful river scene with flowers by the French-born American artist Louis Aston Knight (1873-1948). Around 250 works, representing many genres, will be sold. Previews will be held daily, starting on Monday, Oct. 19th, and continue through to auction day (closed Sundays). Preview hours are 11-6, except Oct. 29, when the preview will end at 5 p.m. Online bidding will be provided by Invaluable.com. Phone and absentee bids will be accepted.
