IMC Receives Quality and Information Management Certifications

DULLES, Va. - July 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Innovative Management Concepts, Inc. (IMC), http://www.imcva.com, a systems engineering and information technology company, is pleased to announce that it has successfully received three International Organization for Standards (ISO) certifications that demonstrate IMC’s ability to provide our key services to government and commercial clients.

The ISO provides requirements, specifications, guidelines, or characteristics that can be used consistently to ensure that materials, products, processes and services are fit for their purpose. ISO International Standards ensure that products and services are safe, reliable and of good quality. Certification demonstrates IMC’s credibility in delivering core services that meet the expectations of our customers.

The three ISO certifications IMC received are:

ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System – Sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.

ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 Information Technology Service Management – Specifies requirements planning, establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining, and improving a service management system.

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management – Specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system within the context of the organization and includes requirements for the assessment and treatment of information security risks tailored to the needs of the organization.
