FARIDABAD, India - July 7, 2015 - PRLog -- Material testing is a significant process which is used in manufacturing industries to ensure the consistency and reliability of various products to provide best products to the customers. These production units includes spacecraft, automotive, construction, shipping and many others that can never take a step forward without testing the quality of component and raw materials and also the final products to ensure the safety of people and economy. There are numerous testing methods which are used to ensure the operational quality of the materials and to determine various properties of materials which are used to produce a final product. Tensile Testing Machine and Eddy Current are the two basic methods which are used in production houses for performing material testing.

As suggested by its name, an eddy current is an electrical current method which is provoked within the conductors by altering the magnetic field. The circulating current provoke magnetic field that causes attraction, repulsion, heating effect, propulsion, and drag. Tough Magnetic Fields direct to faster change and stronger current in the field. The testing method is widely used in production units to understand various properties of conductive materials. By measuring the potency of the magnetic field which is formed by these currents, it is easy to study various materials without a single touch. Eddy Current method helps to obtain various results like breaks on the surface of the material, material conductivity and so forth. It is a type of non-destructive testing which is used by the engineers to bring perfection to their work by collecting important information about their product.

On the other hand, Tensile strength testing is done to determine the strength of the goods or specimens, which is provided with tension until it ruptures completely  in determined condition. Thus, the results of the test help to select material for an application that react differently to different forces.  The tensile test helps to envisage that how the product will react when placed under different forces. The tensile test helps to determine various properties of a material like maximum elongation and reduction, ultimate tensile strength, etc. Apart from this, properties like yield strength, young’s modulus and modulus of elasticity can also be determined.

In order to test the different materials like plastics, metals, rubbers, etc. the most common machine which is used for the same is “tensile testing machine”. The reliability of the results depends on three different factors namely, precision, speed, and force capacity. It is necessary to buy a best testing machine to test the strength of the specimens accurately, to obtain best results.
