MIAMI - July 1, 2015 - PRLog -- Florida Trend magazine released its annual Florida Legal Elite list for 2015, recognizing the top 1.8 percent of Florida’s 56,000 lawyers.  Markowitz, Ringel, Trusty & Hartog, P.A. shareholders Jerry M. Markowitz, and Ross R. Hartog and partners Grace E. Robson and Joshua Rosenberg, have been named among the top practitioners in Florida.

Founding shareholder Jerry M. Markowitz is one of South Florida’s leading business and bankruptcy reorganization law practitioners and mediators.  He is ranked in Chambers USA, is a 2015 Best Lawyer in America and a 2014 Top Lawyer in South Florida in the South Florida Legal Guide. In 2015, Markowitz was also named to the Top 100 Florida Super Lawyers list and to the Top 100 Miami Super Lawyers by Super Lawyers Magazine. Shareholder Ross R. Hartog concentrates on the representation of trustees, creditors, creditors' committees, and debtors in cases proceeding under chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and receivers in state and federal court and assignees for the benefit of creditors. He is a Chapter 7 and 11 Bankruptcy Trustee in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. Hartog is ranked in Chambers USA and named a 2015 Florida Super Lawyer, a 2015 Best Lawyer in America and a 2015 Top Lawyer in the South Florida Legal Guide. Partner Grace E.
