Women’s Giving Circle Recognizes AED Foundation

GARDNER, Mass. - June 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Gardner, MA – The Woman’s Giving Circle Honored the AED Foundation at its spring meeting, hosted by the Wendell P. Clark Memorial YMCA in Gardner.

At the May meeting, the group welcomed several new members, bringing membership to over 170 area women.

This quarter, the WGC named the AED Foundation, Inc. as its selected local organization. The AED Foundation’s mission is committed to assisting individuals as well as their families on the road to recovery, educating the community by bringing awareness of the disease and defeating the stigma associated with drug addiction.

To date, the Women’s Giving Circle has raised and donated $4,550!

The Women’s Giving Circle meets quarterly at evening networking meetings where the needs of the community will be discussed. Collectively, the group determines where the most critical need lies and how to invest resources in hopes of creating the greatest impact community-wide.
