Avanti Home Health Care Scores Above National Benchmarks for HHCAHPS Surveys
HHCAHPS is a trademarked survey developed by Center for Medicare & Medicaid and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to measure a patient's perception of their home health services
In the Home Health CAHPS surveys, patients are provided an opportunity to comment on severaldomains of their home health care, including; the professionalism of their home health provider, how well their home health provider communicated with them, specific care issues, as well as ranking their home healthcare provider on a scale of 0 to 10, and indicating how likely they would be to recommend tothe home health provider to friends and family. The CAHPS survey results were developed by CMS andthe Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to ensure quality healthcare for all Americans through accountability and public disclosure.
“Less than 20% of all home health care providers achieve above benchmark rankings for all five measures over a period of a year,” states Novaetus President, Lori Moshier. “Avanti Home Health Care’s performance in CAHPS measures is a clear indication of the quality of the care their patient’s experience.”
Results for CAHPS surveys are publicly reported on the www.medicare.gov site on the home health compare page.
