Avanti Home Health Care Scores Above National Benchmarks for HHCAHPS Surveys

NOVI, Mich. - June 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Novaetus Inc., a Medicare approved and national provider of  Home Health CAHPS® surveys, which measure a patient’s experience of their home health services, recently  announced the inclusion of Avanti Home Healthcare for the Novaetus Circle of Excellence award for 2015 .  In order to receive a Circle of Excellence award,  a home health agency must score aboveCenter for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) benchmark designation in all five measures of patient experience for an entire year.

In the Home Health CAHPS surveys, patients are provided an opportunity to comment on severaldomains of their home health care, including; the professionalism of their home health provider, how  well their home health provider communicated with them, specific care issues, as well as ranking their home healthcare provider on a scale of 0 to 10, and indicating how likely they would be to recommend tothe home health provider to friends and family.  The CAHPS survey results were developed by CMS andthe Agency for Healthcare  Research and Quality (AHRQ) to ensure quality healthcare for all Americans    through accountability and public disclosure.
