The first program to roll out from Economic Development Plan, Innovation Incubator will help move LBI Region towards 2020 Vision while strengthening regional business community.

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - June 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Southern Ocean Chamber Of Commerce, with the direction of their Business Leadership Council is issuing an invitation for tech oriented small businesses to become the charter tenants in a co work space environment in their Innovation Incubator program. Business plans will be reviewed confidentially by a select panel of Board Members and Stockton Business School Professors. This opportunity is open to independent business owners, that are looking for a flexible workspace solution that focuses on community-building. This is one of the first projects that will present an opportunity focused on helping our economy by business expand where they can create jobs, utilize commercial space and build a dynamic environment that attracts further investment in the Long Beach Island Region.

Southern Ocean County Chamber is interested in helping to minimize risk for the next generation of business leaders.  The launch of this program provides professional space that is the ideal first step out of a home office, with the hopes of increasing community involvement , motivation and productivity.  The organization is  taking applications to fill five spots that will be housed on the second floor of  their offices, for a 12 month term at a fixed co working rental rate. This opportunity will allow the candidates to grow their business with the support of like-minded individuals, who take a regional business approach. By joining this co working space the additional benefit of presenting at business forums, contributing to digital press, obtain a professional setting to meet with clients as well as building your business along side other talented people who offer skills that complement your own. The regional chamber was established in 1914, and for over one hundred years has lead the way for the evolution of doing business in our region, it has been successful because it values businesses as a community. This program was created as a result from the Regional Business Development Council that was formed in 2013 which cultivated recommendations and data that contributed to the 2015 Southern Ocean Chamber Economic Report.
