DALLAS - June 12, 2015 - PRLog -- TangoTab hosts “Feed The City” event Saturday, June 13, 2015 at The Nodding Donkey in Dallas, TX.  Making sandwiches for the homeless has become a monthly event and TangoTab’s group has grown exponentially.  To find out more about the event and to register, visit our Facebook - FEED THE CITY: Sandwich Making for the Homeless - TangoTab page.  Almost 400 have signed up – will you be there?

Like our motto says, "When You Eat, They Eat (#WYETE)." So, how does the app work? Download the app: Get.TangoTab.com (http://tangotab.com).  When you check in at a restaurant and you will feed someone who is in need – it really is that simple!  At TangoTab, we believe everyone deserves to eat.

These sandwiches made are important to these children and their families.  At the Feed the City event, over 5,000 sandwiches are made.  A lunch bag is filled with a sandwich, chips, and cookies, providing a meal for a child or family member.  This may be the only meal that person will have that day.  And this is just one way that you may get involved with TangoTab and fight the hunger epidemic.

Sandwiches are delivered to the SoupMobile, a mobile soup kitchen feeding the homeless in Dallas, TX.  For information on how you can start a Feed the City event in your city, contact Nick Marino at TangoTab.

"I wanted to combine my knowledge of technology and use the power of business to solve social issues,” said Andre.  "There’s hunger and there are stories that people should know about.  With TangoTab, you can help people just by dining out."

School is out and summer time is here.  It's time for water parks, pools, vacation, and popsicles. Unfortunately, that isn't true for all kids.  There are many children who will not experience these things this summer and will go to bed hungry.  In fact, 1 in 4 kids go to bed hungry every night.  You can take a stand and do something about it. For each person that downloads TangoTab, 2 children will be fed in your community.

May 2015, a milestone was reached and 500,000 people were fed.  To see more about it visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lM5nXFWRq_g. What an accomplishment in such a short period of time, and you can make a significant contribution by doing your part.  So join the movement now.

Share with your family and friends and use it every time you dine out.  The goal is to provide 1M meals and you can be a part of that, one meal at a time and one sandwich at a time.

About TangoTab
Founded in 2010, and launched in 2012 by Andre Angel, telecom and Internet entrepreneur who had a passion to end hunger.  Encouraged by Ken Kragen, Angel began focusing on hunger in the United States and the App was developed.  The company initially launched in Dallas, New York City, Hoboken, Chicago, Los Angeles, Fort Worth and Oklahoma City.  TangoTab is an online social enterprise, offering diners discounts at participating restaurants and donating 20% of gross revenues to the fight against hunger.  Donating to local hunger-relief charities keeps the dollars local and helps local families.  For information about TangoTab, visit TangoTab (http://tangotab.com).
