LOS ANGELES - June 4, 2015 - PRLog -- The Sabir Bey Show returns to LA Talk Live on June 9, 2015, in the Gemini spirit of duality. As Season Four approaches to remind audiences that #MoorishLivesMatter and that #YouAreNotACrayon, the team at The Sabir Bey Show also celebrates a second season of “#HipHopHistoryLesson,” a Friday edition of the show that quickly gained attention from viewers within the Hip Hop community, as well as those seeking a deeper knowledge of history and civics.

With four to eight million weekly viewers and listeners in 180 countries around the globe, The Sabir Bey Show interacts directly with the students of “Pure Edu-tainment”, encouraging viewer interaction during live broadcasts from the LA Talk Live Studio in Los Angeles, California. In addition to “call-in” lines, The Sabir Bey Show simultaneously holds Twitter discussions between audiences and the staff at the show, which includes roll call, homework assignments and hashtags to spread a movement of peace, unity and unadulterated knowledge.

Sabir Bey is a respected educator within the Moorish American and Pan-African Communities, a teacher who travels the continent to give lectures and workshops on the topics of Civics, Law, Etymology, History, and Hip Hop. He further extends into these subjects, as related to current events and society struggles, every Tuesday on his Globally-supported Sabir Bey Show. The Sabir Bey Show commences its fourth season, while continuing to dedicate itself to awakening the people, and especially the youth, to injustice in teaching basic and complex principles that have kept us trapped in a “society of enslavement” even in the 21st Century.

As for the #FridayEdition of #TheSabirBeyShow, #HipHopHistoryLesson utilizes true hip hop, demonstrating the fifth element in its finest.. the element often forgotten or “tossed to the side” in ignorance. This element is knowledge and a true representation of what The Sabir Bey Show really is. Playing a mix of classic Hip Hop from the pioneers, such as Afrika Bambaataa and KRS-One (both who have been guests on the show), and newer music that “you won’t hear on the radio,” as Sabir often voices, audiences are sure to gain insight on valuable information, pressing topics and the ability discuss solutions within the Global community. Each episode gives an in-depth history lesson, as it relates to society, nationality and law.

“We have a responsibilty to the media and must continue to create alternative media in influencing future generations,” states Sabir Bey, who uses media to paint a clearer picture of reality and tell a story that needs to be told.

“With authority from the founding fathers of Hip Hop and through The Universal Zulu Nation, Sabir often covers the history of Hip Hop in its purest artform. He discusses how Hip Hop, as a culture is getting a bad name, because those who control the media have power over the perception of the culture… even though what they present as Hip Hop isn’t even hip hop at all! Like all matter, Hip Hop has elements. Leaving out one element is like leaving Hydrogen out of Water. Without Hydrogen, Water is only Oxygen… or air! There are five basic elements that shoot off offspring of each. Knowledge is often the forgotten element!

Sabir speaks on the legacy of Hip Hop and how WE, as media creators, can ensure the perseverance of the culture though the media and what influence we actually have over society and culture. He speaks on the roots of Hip Hop and how it became contaminated, as well as what we can do to fix it!” Those who are involved in the Media and Entertainment Business, or who are simply “Hip Hop Heads,” are strongly encouraged to tune in to Friday Editions of the show.

The Sabir Bey Show airs TUESDAYS from 6PM Est | 3PM Pst until 7:30PM Est | 4:30PM Pst and FRIDAYS from 6PM Est | 3 PM Pst until 9PM Est | 6PM Pst.
