Microsoft and other MNCs offer high pay package to HIT students

Students are given employability training from the time they enter the premises of the Institute and this continues from 1^st year to 4^th.year.This training involves internal and external trainers for comprehensive preparation of students in Communication,Aptitude,Specific technical training,Group discussion,Interview preparation etc.

With one of the highest placement record in past years,H.I.T is known for its excellent placement from its very inception.

In  eastern india,H.I.T is the most preferred destination for major software companies like INFOSYS,WIPRO,TCS,CAPGEMINI,TECH MAHINDRA,ITC INFOTECH,etc.who visit our campus year on year for campus drives.Software companies like L&T infotech,Persistent systems,Nomura,Dynamic digital,Ericsson are also regular recruiters .

The students from Sofware related branches not only get placement in services companies but also in product and core companies.M/s Robert Bosche and Idea cellular selected our students from ECE AND AEIE streams this year with a package of more than Rs.4Lakhs/annum.

Our students also got placed in  Microsoft  at an enviable  package of Rs.16lakhs /annum in the drive held in our campus.

In the current year the placement has been excellent to say the least.An all time record of  100 Companies have so far  recruited from our campus and the process is stills on. 80% placement of all eligible students is already  done  and we expect this figure to  reach cent percent  for the current passout batch.

Special feature of our placement activity has been the more than 60% of the recruiters are from  core companies where students of core streams like Mechanical,Civil,Chemical ,Applied electronics and Instrumentation and Bio-Technology have received job offers.

It is heartening to note that M/s KEC International have offered international placement to our Civil student from the current batch.
