iRiS & Knowcross integrate to provide interactive hotel services at Kempinski Mall of the Emirates

 
DUBAI, UAE - June 1, 2015 - PRLog -- iRiS Software Systems, the leading provider of guest facing technology and Knowcross, the leading provider of efficiency software products in the hospitality industry, recently announced a partnership.

After working with Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, iRiS and Knowcross collaborated to integrate its Valet products to their KNOW Service software.

The iRiS Valet app is a user-friendly guest-facing solution that allows the hotel’s guests to interact with all the services and facilities on offer in their preferred language. From in-room dining to room controls, restaurant bookings and cleaning requests, guests can easily access each of the hotel’s amenities.

The Knowcross software suite allows Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates to manage housekeeping and maintenance tasks, as well as guest requests, complaints and personalized services through smartphones and tablets.

When a guest requests a service on the iRiS Valet app, the request goes straight through to Knowcross. The system then takes over and assigns hotel staff to the job, informs the staff and follows up to ensure timely completion, permitting better proficiency and performance and driving major improvements in processes.

Once the request has been completed, a notification is sent back from Knowcross to the iRiS app which then notifies the guest.

This integration between iRiS and Knowcross products means that service requests are more easily and efficiently dealt with, allowing for a seamless process between backend and front end operations.

Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates is reaping the benefits of the integration according to Prasanna Rupasinghe, the hotel's Director of Information Technology – " Knowcross integration with iRiS Guest Xperience Platform has been a step towards enabling guests to interact directly with the hotel staff and make service requests regardless of their presence on-premises or off-premises. This helps in serving guests in a timely fashion and has reduced the average time to fulfil guest requests by almost 15%. In case of delays, staff is  immediately notified and in the entire process adherence to brand standards is ensured.”
