Wine & Web: Four Courses of Wine & Learning

PETOSKEY, Mich. - May 31, 2015 - PRLog -- HarborActive is hosting a new learning event called "Wine & Web: Four Courses of Wine and Learning" on Tuesday, June 23rd from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Pier Restaurant in Harbor Springs, Michigan.

"We thought it would be fun to learn about using mobile technology while also learning about great new wine," stated stated Marcie Wolf of Abuzz Creative and collaborator with HarborActive. "As with all of our HarborActive classes, this will be a hands-on learning opportunity but with a little something extra."

Cost for the event is $25 per person and includes four courses of wine and appetizer pairings with four courses of mobile learning.

* Course One: Facebook with a California wine
* Course Two: Email Etiquette with a Michigan wine
* Course Three: Pinterest with a wine from San Fransico
* Course Four: Mobile Madness (open forum) with a Roset wine

"Each course will include a special wine and appetizer pairing that will compliment our mobile learning nicely," stated Rachel Smolinski of HARBOR, Inc. and collaborator with HarborActive. "The creativity of the talented staff at Stafford’s Pier Restaurant will make this learning event much more unique."

Registrants are invited to bring a mobile device such as smartphone or tablet since the learning portion of the four courses will be focusing on various apps to make mobile use more enjoyable.

Seating is limited to 30 people and advance registration and payment is required by Friday, June 19.
