WESTCHESTER, N.Y. - May 18, 2015 - PRLog -- Bare, the world’s first and only patented Air-free feeding system eliminates the air inside the bottle to dramatically minimize air-ingestion while feeding, is already successful with breastfed babies with its Perfe-latch nipple. The New “Bare Air-free with Easy-latch nipple” is the easiest to latch on for non-breastfed babies. Available for pre-order in May 31.

Due to the unprecedented successful launch of the original Bare® Air-free with Perfe-latch® nipple, exclusively designed for breastfed babies, Bittylab is now launching a second line: “Bare® Air-free with Easy-latch® nipple” exclusively designed for bottle-fed babies. The Easy-latch® nipple is the easiest to latch on and allows baby to create a seal to further prevent air swallowing while feeding air-free milk.  All Bare Air-free bottles feature the patented Air-plug® technology, which allows user to expel the air inside the bottle and keep it out, like a syringe. Because Bare Air-free works with suction, as opposed to gravity, baby can feed in upright position. The unmatched multi-benefit feeding system has proven to dramatically reduce air-swallowing known to cause gas, colic, spit ups and fuss.

Bare® Air-free baby bottles launched in late 2013 with a pre-sale that surpassed all expectations by raising $50,000 in only two weeks and selling out of its entire inventory in only a few months via on-line sales. During that time, Priska Diaz, the mom inventor, was inundated with requests from parents with a wish for a nipple that would allow their non-breastfed babies to benefits from the anti-colic, Air-free technology.  The mom-entrepreneur took this opportunity to not only design the new Easy-latch® nipple but to make design modifications resulting in an optimized, durable, user-friendly and dishwasher-safe Air-free feeding system that virtually eliminates air inside the bottle and thereby dramatically reduce air-ingestion. With an upcoming pre-sale event this May 31, the second generation of Bare® Air-free baby bottle lines are: Bare® Air-free with Easy-latch® nipple (green coded packaging); specially designed for bottle-fed babies and Bare® Air-free with Perfe-latch® nipple (pink coded packaging); the # 1 nipple preferred by breastfed babies.

When asked why Bittylab does not offer various stage nipples, Priska Diaz, mom-inventor, founder and CEO of Bittylab, responded “We don’t make different stage nipples because our nipples are designed to mimic a mother’s breast. Just like a mother’s breast, Perfe-latch® and Easy-latch® nipples have different size orifices on the tip so that baby controls the flow via suction strength.  As the baby grows and suction strength increases more orifices open up to feed baby more food.  This is our exclusive Flow-control® technology.  We also address the difference on the baby’s latch on the breast vs. the bottle, hence the two lines. Our original Perfe-latch® nipple with a wide aerola and short extending tip promotes a deep/wide latch to emulate breastfeeding and prevent nipple confusion while our new Easy-latch® nipple with a non-extending longer tip is the easiest to latch on and allow bottle-fed babies to create a seal that further prevents air-ingestion.”

Both lines are available for pre-order starting this May 31 directly from

About Bare Air-free Baby Bottles:

Without air-vents, Bare's syringe-like technology features an Air-plug® (a watertight & airtight seal) that moves inside the bottle to deliver air-free milk and reduce air-ingestion. 2015 brings a new & improved Air-plug® that’s more durable, user friendly and dishwasher safe. The Air-plug® allows the user to expel all the air out of the bottle before feeding, thus ensuring that the milk chamber is always air free and thereby dramatically reducing air ingestion to help prevent gas and colic. Bare® works with suction, independent of gravity, allowing baby to feed in a natural upright position, which is recommended by Pediatricians to prevent ear infections, painful gas, acid reflux symptoms and over-eating.  It also promotes self-feeding, and an easier transition to cups. Bare® also offers 2 different nipples: The New Easy-latch® nipple specially designed for bottle-fed babies and the original Perfe-latch® Nipple, designed to extend in length during feeding to help prevent nipple confusion. Both nipples feature Flow-Control® Technology: Comprised of different size orifices on the tip of the nipple to dispense different flow rates which is controlled exclusively by the baby’s sucking strength and not gravity. With weaker suction (i.e. a newborn’s) only the larger orifice dispenses.  As the baby grows and develops stronger suction (i.e. a 10 month old baby) more orifices open up to dispense more fluid – just like nature intended.
