Can the past inspire the future?

KELOWNA, British Columbia - May 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Two entrepreneurs with varied backgrounds recently joined forces to find a way to help people inspire themselves to personally achieve results they have only dreamed of.

Entrepreneur, Andre Voskuil said "The internet can take us away from values that we hold dear. Too often we watch online webinars and read of other peoples success and call it inspiration! We wanted people to inspire themselves and the Codex movement was a perfect way to do it".

The plan is for participants and subscribers to use an old fashioned leather bound book - referred to as a Codex - to record places they want to visit, people they want to meet and activities they want to do.

"It is like a personal business plan" said Mark Jennings-Bates, Voskuil's business partner, "Years ago my wife and I wrote a personal plan after doing business plans for most of our life. Since then, when people find out what we want to achieve, they often find a way to help us, connect the dots so to speak".

The goal with the Codex which is a beautiful leather bound hand made book is to take it with you to meetings. The desire to open such a beautiful hand crafted piece can lead to people helping you achieve your goals.

"It is a great talking point" said Voskuil, adding "People can't help but offer to connect you to someone they know or can get you closer to, it is human nature and in essence that is how we have done business for years".

As keynote speakers in Canada, both Mark and Andre have witnessed how people approach them with the comment "I wish I could do what you do".

"We have an insatiable appetite for inspiration" said Jennings-Bates noting that "Truly, most of the times we go to an event and get excited about someone else's success.
