Poston Mill leads the way with ‘Excellence’ for Herefordshire

HEREFORD, U.K. - May 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Poston Mill Park in Herefordshire’s Golden Valley has consistently achieved excellence in the 21 years it has been owned by Wayne and Sarah Jones. This year they look set to add another award to their portfolio.

The Park has held a David Bellamy Gold award for Conservation for eleven consecutive years and a five Star Gold award with Quality in Tourism. The park has scored 98% for two years in a row and was one of the first Parks in the country to earn this new accolade. Nationally, there are still only a handful of Parks which have achieved this high a recognition.

This week they have been informed that they are shortlisted for an Excellence in Tourism award with Visit England in the ‘Holiday Park /Village of the Year’ category. The only entry throughout the categories in Herefordshire.

Wayne and Sarah have always said that the Park’s achievements are a team effort by all those involved in its running and the customers on park agree.
