Haunted House opens Wedding Venue

What do skeletons, zombies, Ouija boards, wedding cake and marital vows have in common? They can now be part of your wedding package at Nashville’s newest wedding venue.

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. - May 7, 2015 - PRLog -- “We wanted to offer something for those couples who want a wedding that is a little out of the normal”, says Dark Weddings owner Carroll Moore.

Dark Weddings packages are being offered from elopement packages up to small party weddings. The setting for Dark Weddings is inside Death Yard Haunted Attraction, located at 118 Mid Town Court in Hendersonville, TN. The scene, named “The Dark Raven Estate” was built with weddings in mind. Each package includes amenities such as wedding treats provided by Nashville based ChocolateFX, a “farewell basket”, champagne, tickets to the haunted attraction and backstage tours. The top tier packages also include the “Ouija Board Unity Candle Ceremony” to signify the commitment.

“Nashville has a lot of great wedding venues”, continues Moore, “but they all seem to fit in the same lines. They all are bright and sunny. Dark Weddings offers something for those who want something odd & out of the norm. There is a huge market for this, and we feel that Death Yard Haunt & Dark Weddings can meet that need. We know that this may not be for everyone, and that it goes against “traditional” marriage, but we have always been anything but traditional here at Death Yard Haunt.”

Packages are available now at http://deathyardhaunt.com/dark-weddings/ with dates available throughout the year. A photo gallery is available on the site to show package prices as well as event pictures. Packages can be customized to fit any unique needs customers may need, including adding live actors to the wedding party. The venue is also available for photo shoots, parties, and other events.

Death Yard Haunted Attraction opened in 2014. It made national and world news with its “Horrific Haunted Holidays” event at Christmas of 2014 during its efforts to raise donations for a toy drive. In 2015, Death Yard is planning on offering one of the most controversial scenes ever conceived to the haunt. More information to come on this scene.
