BURIEN, Wash. - May 7, 2015 - PRLog -- On July 8, 2015, the free self-empowering home study course “Protocol & Performance” is slated to officially begin. It is released under the auspices of HGRBS for the benefit domestic residents. The course promises to offer more than a new twists to old ethics and practices which are presented as being culprit to reasons many have gotten into regrettable contractual liaisons with dishonest contractors and pretenders.

Fortunately, notwithstanding the dark side of things, “Protocol & Performance” offers  many  proactive tips for residents making the best possible decisions and choices about and getting relative results from legitimate contractors of their own choosing. Inadvertently, this free online course promises to inspire residents towards making safer, better, and more productive decisions through establishing very easy to adopt protocol.

Tentative Syllabus on this Contractor-Resident Relations Course (June 8- 29, 2015)

Monday June 8, 2015

Lesson 1: Stop, Look, & Listen

Emphasis is on stopping long enough to really take a good look at the situation, and listening to one’s “inner voice” to assess various probabilities (good or bad)

Tuesday 06-09

Lesson 2: Scouting

Entails encouragement to expand one’s horizons, considering several contractors who can do the same things and establishing a solid contact list of candidates

Wednesday 06-10

Lesson 3: Selecting

This is more or less the complement to the resident researching several contractors, yet differs in that there are recommendations for selecting from among the “cream of the crop” then making a decision based on a specific formula

Thursday y 06-11

Lesson 4: Hiring

In this portion, although the resident sifts out the best candidates, a few extra tidbits are offered as insurance for making the best hiring decision.

Friday 06-12

Lesson 5: Coordinating

Here the consumer is encouraged to be “hands-on” from beginning to end. There are several reasons highlighted.

Monday June 15, 2015

Lesson 6: Monitoring

Differentiation is made between monitoring and ”just looking and seeing.” Critical

Tuesday 06-16

Lesson 7: Firing

The saying “I really don’t want to fire people” is turned into stubble in this presentation. Residents are motivated to toughen up and to always be ready to do this when there is probable cause. For example: obvious breach.

Wednesday 06-17

Lesson 8: Settling

Although no one initially thinks there may be probable cause for reaching an out-of-court settlement, this lesson demonstrates how these can become very high probabilities. The resident is presented with reasons where it becomes the best option.

Thursday 06-18

Lesson 9: Pay-outs & Purchases

Differences between “pay-outs” and purchases are discussed and the consumer is guided towards always being clear about the how, when and why disbursements should be made for either.

Friday 06-19

Lesson 10: Delegating

There are two distinct forms of delegating considered here. Both are presented as immensely vital aspects to the success or failure of home projects.

(Off Monday June 20 thru Sunday June 27, 2015)

Monday June 28, 2015

General Review

All 10 lessons are briefly rehashed in preparation for the official end of this first run of “Protocol & Performance.”

Summary Statement

Summary

The results from incorporating “Protocol & Performance” to help further the cause for American homeowners and homerenters towards better decisions and better results in the given realm are unpredictable. Yet, because of the limited reach of HGRBS, very likely a lot of residents who will benefit will not know anything about this. However,  on the optimistic note, this course is another step forward towards enabling more residents of the U.S. private home sector to be more informed, hence, more successful in making the right decisions, at the right times, for the right people to work in, on, and/or around our homes.
