Meeting Expectations Client SHRM-Atlanta Receives Distinguished EXCEL Silver Award

ATLANTA - May 5, 2015 - PRLog -- The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has awarded SHRM-Atlanta, managed by Meeting Expectations, its prestigious EXCEL Silver Award for 2014. The award is part of the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence (SHAPE), which aligns individual chapters with SHRM. The award recognizes a chapter’s accomplishments and strategic activities and initiatives that promote the human resources profession at the local level. Additionally, this program is designed to enhance the business acumen of local volunteer leaders.

SHRM-Atlanta was given the Excel Silver Award for its strategic initiatives, managed by Meeting Expectations, in the areas of membership and programming, as well as a special signature event, which was a day of service for HR professionals to give back in a meaningful way to the Atlanta community. The key goals of the event were to support the Atlanta community, connect HR leaders from leading companies, and ignite the future of HR by providing scholarships to current and future student members of SHRM-Atlanta.
