April 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Humanist Learning Systems along with humanist educator Hank Landman from Australia have created a first of its kind professional development program, applying a humanistic approach to the art of selling.

This new humanistic selling program is designed for sales people. However course instructor, Hank Landman says that “anyone whose job requires them to “sell” ideas and solutions to internal or external “customers” can benefit from learning how to break the ice and develop rapport with other people.” He goes on to say that breaking the ice “is an essential skill for any business professional whether they are in sales, an entrepreneur, a manager, an aspiring manager, or HR professional.”

The course is a short 1 ½ hours long and provides an introduction to communication that will help individuals learn how to make a positive impression when meeting new people and building rapport with them. According to Mr. Landman, “By gathering relevant information (nicely), you will be able to create and improve your relationships and become a more effective advocate for your company or cause.”

Course Information

Humanistic Selling: Building Rapport & Trust is a 1.5 hour online facilitated self study program consisting of 5 short video lessons as well as worksheets and lecture notes. Cost $25. It is approved for 1.5 hour HRCI recertification credit.
