| ![]() Daystar Fights to End Human Trafficking Around the WorldDaystar’s donations to Stella’s Voice have been used for the construction of two new homes for 60 at-risk teens that aged out of Moldova’s orphanage system. Other past donations have also been used to complete the construction of a church and community center facility. After witnessing the horrific conditions of a Moldovan state-run orphanage for girls, Philip and Chrissy Cameron founded Stella’s Voice. In Moldova, sex traffickers often snatch orphan girls. After being sold, the orphan girls are used up to 40 times per day while their captors profit up to $350,000 in a year. In order to combat sex trafficking in Moldova, Cameron founded Stella’s House. Stella’s House provides aged-out orphan girls with the opportunity to complete their education, learn life skills, and grow in a Christian environment. “We are thankful to be able to make an additional donation to Philip Cameron’s Stella House,” says Marcus Lamb, President and CEO of Daystar Television Network. “This will help keep Moldovan girls from falling prey to human trafficking by providing them with a home after they age out of the orphanage system at 16.” Philip Cameron is also a programmer on Daystar with his program, Stella’s Voice.
