CHICAGO - April 27, 2015 - PRLog -- UCKup Sports Apparel is delighted to announce the launch of its' innovatively unique sport logo designed to specifically fill a huge void in the Sports Apparel marketplace.

UCKup Founder and President, John B. Frank explains:

“As a lifelong Sports Fan, I know how loyal and passionate we can be about about our favorite teams.  At the same time, I realized something BIG was MISSING  in the Sports Apparel Industry so we set out to fill the void.  The first step was to identify with how fans feel. Here's what we learned: Fans love their teams and don’t love (LOATHE) their rivals.”

Another words…Sports Fans universally share two common characteristics:

1.  They Root FOR their teams...and...
2.  They Root AGAINST their rivals

Economics 101 = Supply and Demand

Meanwhile, Sports Apparel Companies have ONE common prosaic.  They print apparel that enables fans to Root FOR their Team.

”Never before has there been supply for the other demand.  One that entitles fans to Root AGAINST their Opponents” Frank surmised.

Prior to the introduction of our UCKup Sports Tease (Tees) a tremendous void prevailed the marketplace.  Fans want but are not afforded the freedom to Root AGAINST their rival opponents...yet the demand to do so is sky-high.

One can measure demand by simply asking a straighforward question:  Do you root against your divisional rivals?"  Those who answer in the affirmative exuberate demand.

“Until that appeal is met, frankly, the Sports Apparel Industry is missing a wide open net, throwing up air balls, dropping the ball and swinging and missing, whereas UCKup by meeting the demand, shoots and scores, swishes a 3, becomes the ball and hits it out of the park." Frank mused.

Missing Link in Sports Apparel

“This industry grosses $7 billion dollars a year, yet every company competes for the same slice of the pie. (providing products that show support for their revered teams)

Instead of competing in the same segment, UCKup creates and cultivates a new niche by satisfying the unanswered demand.  Sports fans can now implement their desire to Root FOR their team and AGAINST opponents at the same time, indulging fans with their cake and letting them eat it too.“

“We provide something substantially different” Frank explained, Our design incorporates class, funnels our intrinsic message and eclipses the primitive slang of a Packers Suck tee shirt.  We set out to create a brand that was clever, subtle, yet complex, and at the same time appealed to the masses.

“The fact that each of the 32 NFL Teams end with an “S” inspired our logo, which was designed with the intention of it being adding to an opposing team’s name.  With the addition of our trademarked logo, the Green Bay Packers logo morphs into a PackersUCK intimation, while the NE Patriots logo transforms into PatriotsUCK.  In New York, the Jets transmute into JetsUCK and instantly becomes a Giant favorite.

"The whole purpose of competitive sports is to win and in order to do that you must outscore the opponent."  In essence, Losers Can't Keep Up with the winners.  UCKup is an acronym for  “U Can’t Keep Up

U Can’t Keep UpFUNNELS (by design) sports fans desire for their team to outscore the opposing team.”  At the same time it subtlety (call it tongue-in-cheeky) states that opposing teamsUCK.  Fans love it.  Ask any Bears fan if they’d like to see the Bears outscore the Packers and you'll get a unanimous yes.

“I grew up a Chicago Sports Fan and I am completely in tune with the passion and intensity Chicago fans have for their teams.  They're diehards. Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers is the oldest rivalry in the NFL.  The Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals storied rivalry is reinvigorated now that the Cubs are potential contenders again.

For the first time, Chicago fans can Bear down and inform the Packers “U Can’t Keep Up” with our PackersUCK Sports Tease.”  Cubs Fans can tell the Cardinals "U Can't Keep Up" with our CardinalsUCK Sports Tease. (tees)

“Although It pains me a bit to enable Packers Fans to wear tees telling Chicago “U Can’t Keep Up” with our BearsUCK Sports Tease,  in reality, it’s all in fun.

From a business perspective it wouldn’t be prudent if we didn’t make them available to Packers fans. The beauty of the concept AND the marketplace is that our designs work with and meet the demand on both sides of every Sports Rivalry.”

Works for Every Rivalry

Ask Pittsburgh or Baltimore fans about their Steelers vs. Ravens rivalry. Pittsburgh Steeler fans can now let the Ravens know “U Can’t Keep Up with our RavensUCK Tees while Ravens fans will want to wear our SteelerUCKdesign.

Bengals Fans aren’t shy about showing superbity towards either team let alone their interstate rival Cleveland Browns.

In the NFC East Division, New York Giants fans can proudly display the message that the CowboysUCK, the RedskinsUCK or the EaglesUCK and vice-versa.

“We can UCKup any team making Divisional Rivalries more Divisional and more fun.  Ironically, our two-sided multi-color Sports Tease are decisively more One-Sided…empowering fans to show distinct support for their team during rival contests.

Fans Can UCKup any Team in ANY League

MLB Baseball has many storied rivalries, whether its the aforementioned Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals or the NY Yankees vs. the Boston Red Sox.  Interstate/Intercity Rivalries such as Mets vs. Yankees, Cubs vs. White Sox, Jets vs. Giants are prime markets for our product.  In addition, new rivalries are continually formulated.

So while Boston Fans will probably be interested in the YankeesUCK design, the OriolesUCK design will have demand based on Baltimore winning the A.L. East last year.  As evidenced by the White Sox/Royals recent bench clearing brawl, our RoyalsUCK brand has new appeal to Chicago Fans.

Having identified and filled a huge void in the Sports Apparel Industry, UCKup.com is working diligently on procuring licensing from the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL.

I saw that Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks is on the record saying: “I hope the Lakers Suck Forever” (google it) “I Hate the Spurs” and “I hope the Clippers Suck.In fact, Mr. Cuban is also on the record stating: “Like I say about every other NBA Team, I hope they Suck!”

Our 100% Cotton Tees Materialize that fact, at least in the form of our unique and innovative Sports Tease Tees,” Frank ruminated with a smile.

UCKup Sports Apparel invites any person or company who can assist us in procuring an NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL or Collegiate Licensing Agreement to contact us and we'll provide an equity stake in our company in return.
