| Tcc Stands With Maribel TourÉ To Address And Oppose Bias Challenge To Her Status As A Us CitizenNycc joins tcc at press conference and demands that divisive tactics stop and that the oppressed not take on the characteristics of the oppressors
By: The Corridor Counts On April 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Law Offices of Frederick K. Brewington, 556 Peninsula Blvd., Hempstead NY, TCC, joined by community residents and other community groups such as New York Communities for Change (NYCC), will hold a press conference in support of Hempstead School Board Trustee Maribel Touré, who has been subjected to a vicious personal and public attack on her status as a U.S. citizen and candidate. Ms. Touré will be joined by her running mate, Ms. Gwen Jackson, as she releases her opposition to two challenges filed with the Hempstead School Clerk which purport to question her right to be a candidate and a School Board Trustee. Rather than allow this level of disinformation to continue to swelter, Ms. Touré will address this problem, which stands only to divide a community that so desperately needs to be unified. She will release documents and answer these rumors with facts. She will be joined by her Attorney, Frederick K. Brewington, who will assist in responding to these calculated acts of ignorance. Come see and hear as TCC and NYCC stand firm on looking to serve and unite the people of the Hempstead community and resist those persons that continue to try to tear the community apart on April 23, 2015 at 10:00a.m. at the Law Offices of Frederick K. Brewington, 556 Peninsula Blvd., Hempstead, NY. End
