Southern Ocean Chamber May 12 Meeting features Art of Responding to Reviews with Ed Hitzel

The Southern Ocean County Chamber invites area businesspeople to attend their Tuesday May 12 monthly meeting at Holiday Inn Manahawkin beginning at 1130am featuring radio host and publisher Ed Hitzel on the art of handling online and in store customer reviews. Mr. Hitzel has been covering the food and hospitality industry in New Jersey for almost two decades, through print, radio, Television, and also is a business owner who manufactures a No Salt Everything Spice distributed in more than 60 stores in three states. He is publisher of Ed Hitzel’ s Restaurant Magazine, a popular free quarterly guide to the dining scene with two editions focusing on southern and central New Jersey. He publishes a monthly, “Ed Hitzel’s Restaurant Newsletter, and was the critic behind The Press of Atlantic City popular and controversial weekly column, “Table For Two.” In addition, Ed is the host of a weekly Saturday morning three hour talk radio program, “Table for One” airs on radio stations in Atlantic City and Philadelphia, and is heard throughout southern New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania and parts of Maryland and New York state. . During his presentation, Ed will discuss tips and responses that can be applied to best practices for all businesses.

The monthly meeting features networking at 1130am, with buffet lunch and keynote at noon and will end with Southern Ocean Chamber Members award funding to Summer and Fall projects. This round of funding includes: The Association of Surf Angling Club 100^th Anniversary Surf Fishing Tournament, Barnegat Township’s Pirate’s Day, Township of Ocean Founder’s Day, Pinelands 4^th of July Fireworks in Tuckerton, Red White & Blue Committee July 4^th Fireworks in Beach Haven, Long Beach Island Foundation of Arts & Sciences Discovery Days Program, and The Makers Festival in Manahawkin totaling $4300.
