The Alternative Board, Mid-Cities Sponsors a Table at Upcoming Tee Up for Success Women’s Event

IRVING, Texas - April 20, 2015 - PRLog -- The third annual Tee Up for Success will be held April 28, 2015 at Las Colinas Country Club to begin this year’s activities at the Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout, an official LPGA event. The Alternative Board, Mid-Cities will host a table at the event, inviting other professional women and men, clients, and partners to participate in the event.

The Alternative Board is a membership organization of business owners, presidents and CEO’s, brought together in a board room setting where members address real-world, real time issues to help each other grow and prosper. After all, eighty to eighty-five percent of all businesses experience a commonality of on-going business challenges or opportunities.

The Alternative Board (TAB) may seem like an odd sponsor for participation in Tee Up for Success event. Per Ray Champney “We’re a membership organization of mostly male owners and presidents of businesses. So why sponsor this event? Simply because I recognize that there are a substantial number of women who own and run businesses and, one of the common denominators of many business people is golf. It requires time management, discipline, patience and a desire to win. It’s also a great networking opportunity. Just as with men, not all women are business owners or desire to be but, for those who are, The Alternative Board is important option to consider. Many women business owners are golfers. From my boards, Golfers who are business owners make great TAB board members.”
