LA Law Library Hosts Free Workshops For The Public On Landlord And Tenant Rights

As part of a week-long offering of free programs for the public, on April 27, LA Law Library is providing three informative workshops exploring the rights and responsibilities of tenants and landlords.

LOS ANGELES - April 17, 2015 - PRLog -- The general public is invited to the LA Law Library, located in the heart of the downtown Los Angeles Civic Center, to learn about fair housing laws, housing discrimination and how to prevent lawsuits. Experts in the field will cover owner responsibilities, requesting repairs, code violations and how to access legal services.  Invited speakers include representatives from the Housing Rights Center, Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and legal experts on landlord/tenants’ rights.  Thousands of people have benefited from this series of workshops aimed at assisting both landlords and tenants understand both sides of housing issues.

These free classes are part of LA Law Library’s Law Week celebration honoring National Law Day 2015.
