Voters Choose Competitors For AML Wrestling Champion Qualifying Matches

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - April 10, 2015 - PRLog -- When trying to decide how they were going to crown the very first AML Wrestling Champion, AML Wrestling Officials determined that they wanted the fans to have a voice. A vote was held, the fans have spoken and the 4 top vote getters will move on to compete in qualifying matches.

The 4 wrestlers with the most votes were (in no particular order): Vordell Walker, Caprice Coleman, King Shane Williams and Zane Dawson. Their matches will be held at CONFRONTATION on Sunday, April 19, 2015. Their opponents will be chosen via lottery and announced LIVE the same night. The 4 winners of these qualifying matches will move on to a 4-way match on Sunday, May 24, 2015 with the winner being crowned the inaugural AML Wrestling Champion.

"We are thankful for our fans so we wanted to give them a say so in who they wanted to compete to be their Champion," said AML Wrestling Owner Tracy Myers. "We are extremely excited about the individuals they chose. Each one is a fierce competitor and would make an excellent Champion. We are also excited about choosing who they will be wrestling via lottery during the event on April 19. This not only adds mystery and intrigue to an already great event but it should also make everyone prepare a little more than they normally would. When you don't know exactly who you'll be facing in a match, it's impossible to determine exactly how to train. The winners of these matches will certainly deserve to move forward to the 4-way in May to compete for the AML Wrestling Championship."

CONFRONTATION by AML Wrestling will be held on Sunday April 19, 2015 at the AML Arena, also known as Johnny & Junes located at 2105 Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem, NC. Meet and Greet begins at 2:30pm with a 4pm belltime. Their weekly TV show, AML Wrestling LIVE! can be seen each Saturday in the Triad area of NC on Triad CW20.
