A Night of R&B "Save The Tatas"

LOS ANGELES - April 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Hollywood, CA, April 6 2015:  On April 11, 2015 there will be a celebration for survivors of Breast Cancer.  This is an ugly disease that needs support and resources to strive towards a cure.  As much help is needed as possible and your generosity and attendance is more than appreciated. Please feel free to join us at the Celebrity Centre Located at 5930 Franklin Ave Los Angeles CA. 90025 at 7pm. This Pink Carpet event is called A night of R&B  "Save The Tatas" featuring the accomplished songstress Tarsha Rodgers.  This night will also have additional performances by Promise Marks, Rory Darvel, Diva, Noir,Sara Shine, May West, and a special appearance by Legendary Jazz Vocalist, Eloise Laws. To enhance the evening there will be special guest KJLH Radio's Free Performance Choir under the  Direction of Grammy and Stellar Award winning artist, Brent Jones, a monolog And Still I Rise by EP McKnight and hosting by Actress Denisha Hardeman from the movie Django.  Admission to the event is $10 in advance and $15 at the door.  Also if you want a copy of Tarsha's latest EP "Still I Rise" they will be available at the door for purchase with cover fee.

This event is special and dear to Tarsha Rodger, herself a 1 year survivor who finished chemo therapy in October of last year and is currently getting radiation treatments.  This night will encompass exquisite music by great performers and Tarsha will be presenting trophies to 10 Survivors, one post humously  As an added bonus the CD "Still I Rise", which is blazing the radio charts in the U,K, and available on all digital retailer such as iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/still-i-rise-ep/id928673726), will be available. Her single from that album "Lover's Paradise" was nominated for a Hollywood Music & Media Award and the Title Song “Still I Rise” and song “Two Faced Girl” won her an Akademia award for each song.  Tarsha has also performed at "Taste of Soul," The BET Experience, and has also opened for El Debarge & Chrissette MIchelle. She strives to be an ambassador for survivors to help get the message out that early detection is critical, and knowing your family health history is a vital part in the battle against this monster.  We need help to find a cure, to help survivors, and to help those who need treatment.  This disease affects us all, and we all need to come together for a cause.
