SUGAR LAND, Texas - April 1, 2015 - PRLog -- March 31, 2015 - SUGAR LAND, Texas -- The Law Office of John L. Venza Jr. is pleased to announce that Attorney Venza was recently able to obtain a favorable solution for a client who pleaded guilty to two counts of online solicitation of a minor.  The client was charged with communicating with and agreeing to meet two under-aged girls, who turned out to be undercover law enforcement, first in July 2013 and then again, while still out on bond for the first case, in May 2014.

Attorney Venza argued on his client’s behalf that investigators lured his client into communicating with girls who may have initially identified themselves as being 18.  He pointed to the fact that his client had no prior criminal record, but due to mental issues he easily succumbed to being lured into meeting the supposed girls.

Attorney Venza argued that police entrapped his client in meeting the imaginary girls, especially in the second case when the client ended communications that were later reinitiated by the investigators.

The Montgomery County court handed down a sentence of 10 years of probation and no jail time.
