2nd Annual Triunfo YMCA Golf Classic set for May 11 at Moorpark Country Club

MOORPARK, Calif. - March 30, 2015 - PRLog -- The Triunfo YMCA will present its 2^nd annual golf classic, Monday, May 11 at the Moorpark Country Club. Proceeds from “On Course For A Cause” will go toward childcare, summer camps and youth and adult enrichment and fitness programs. The event is hosted by Amaroso Companies.

         Registration, a putting contest and hole-in-one contest will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., with a four-player scramble tournament beginning at 11:00 a.m. Players will receive a box lunch during the tournament followed by a reception and dinner in the early evening. Awards will be presented to the contest winners and top three foursomes. The cost is $300 per player or $1,000 for a foursome.

         “Our first tournament was a wonderful success. It was a great way for the Triunfo YMCA to raise funds that will help underwrite the costs of our youth and healthy living programs,” says Ronnie Stone, Triunfo Y executive director. “We hope our second tournament is just a successful. The Y never turns anyone away from our programs because of an inability to pay. This sets the YMCA apart from most other health, fitness and youth development organizations.”
