Stellar Performance Pays Off for Level Property Management President

LAS VEGAS - March 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Anne Calarco has spent her career helping peers and clients learn useful lessons. Now the president and managing partner of Level Property Management learned a lesson herself: excellence pays off.

Calarco received two awards at the Community Associations Institute-Nevada chapter's Feb. 21 awards gala. She was named Professional Community Association Manager of the Year and On-site Manager of the Year for 2014.

The annual awards gala, held this year in Treasure Island's grand ballroom, honors leading homeowners association board members, CAI-Nevada chapter volunteers, association managers and management companies that exemplify high standards within the homeowner association industry.

Calarco's awards continue her record of excellence. In 2011, she received  the CAI Award for Southern Nevada On-site Manager of the Year. In 2012, she helped Level, which offers full-service management solutions for community associations, earn Outstanding Small Management Company of the Year from the Community Associations Institute of Nevada.

"Anne Calarco joined Level in 2011 and she has played a key role in improving our services to community associations and HOA boards throughout the valley," Level Property Management owner Ryan McNamara said. "As a direct result of Anne's leadership and innovative approach, we have more than doubled the size of our company. She has also mentored staff members , who have thrived under her leadership."

Calarco, , a DCAL, CMCA, AMS and PCAM , has many  years of experience managing community associations in Nevada. Calarco is a Certified Manager of CommunityAssociations, Association Management Specialist, Professional Community Association Manager and Dedicated Community Association Leader.

It is a rare occasion for a manager to win in two categories.  "While I am proud for the Large Scale Onsite Manager of the Year, for my work at The Las Vegas International Country Club Estates Master Association,  I am most proud of being chosen as PCAM ( Professional Community Association Manager) for 2014," Calarco said. "The award represents the work I do daily in furthering the education and support for managers and board members in southern Nevada. I feel that part of being a PCAM is giving back to other managers and board members some of the knowledge I have garnered to benefit the communities they serve.  As President and Partner of Level Property Management I utilize my education and experience to benefit and guide my managers and staff. I also work to provide professional growth for community managers in my work as Board member of NACM (Nevada Association of Community Managers)."

The southern Nevada chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) awarded Calarco with a Women of Distinction award for the real estate category in 2013.

Calarco has served as CAI Education co-chair since 2012 and has  worked to share her expertise with peers, developing classes for community managers, homeowners association board members and homeowners. In 2010, she developed a seminar "How to Run Your HOA Like the Business That It Is," for CAI-Nevada's CA Day Trade Show. In 2012, she was CAI-Nevada chapter's education committee co-chairwoman.

Calarco said she works to give managers opportunities to grow professionally and knowledge that will benefit the boards of directors and associations they serve. She said she also aims to give association clients quality community management services that exceed  "business as usual."

Calarco has extensive experience in portfolio community management,high-rise mixed-use properties, and on-site large-scale community management.

Before joining Level, Calarco was general manager for Las Vegas International Country Club Estates, a large master association with subassociations.

In her career, she has also been vice president and chief financial officer for two major Nevada management companies and controller for the International Marketing Exchange in McHenry, Ill.
