Premera Blue Cross Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit

March 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Law firm Abington Cole + Ellery is currently investigating a confirmed data breach at health insurance provider Premera Blue Cross.  This data breach affected Premera Blue Cross, Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska, and Premera's affiliate brands Vivacity and Connexion Insurance Solutions, Inc. This data breach also affected members of other Blue Cross Blue Shield plans who sought treatment in Washington and Alaska.

Breached data includes the following members' information: member name, member bank account information, address, telephone number, date of birth, email address, Social Security number, member identification numbers, and claims information, including clinical information.
