Go Eat Give and Atlantic Institute present Speaker Event on Role of Women in Islam

 
ATLANTA - March 14, 2015 - PRLog -- On Tuesday, April 14th the Atlantic Institute will partner with Go Eat Give to provide an opportunity for guests to learn about the reality of the role of women in Islam while enjoying lunch. The event will be held in the reception area of the Atlantic Institute's facilities located in suite 1010 at 1349 W Peachtree St NW Atlanta, Georgia.

Upon their arrival, guests will have a chance to mingle and taste homecooked Turkish cuisine. Presenting on the Role of Women in Islam will be keynote speaker Ms. Azizah Kahera, COO of Azizah Magazine - the magazine that serves as the voice for Muslim women in America. Kahera also started the Azizah International edition that celebrates the accomplishments of Muslim women around the world.

Ms. Kahera will debunk the commonly misconstrued stereotypes that are too frequently tied to Muslim women. There is no doubt that far too many people succumb to these biased beliefs, even if they do so unknowingly. This event will be a great opportunity for guests to have their eyes opened to the reality of Muslim women and to have any of their misinformed preconceptions corrected.

Go Eat Give is a 501(c)(3) Atlanta based nonprofit organization that is dedicated to promoting cross-cultural connection and understanding through global service, community education, and international travel.
