Trinity Christian Academy Honors Founder of the Student Tuition Aid Program Bill MilletStudent tuition aid program grown from $1,850 to more than $1 million under Millet’s leadership
By: Trinity Christian Academy “Mr. Millet has provided the Trinity community with many gifts, but the most extraordinary is his gift of leadership,” Millet, who is fondly referred to as the “father of the Student Tuition Aid Program,” created the initiative in 1974 with just $1,850. Today, the program raises more than $1 million each year and helps more than 120 students receive the financial aid to attend TCA every year. Since its inception, the Student Tuition Aid Program has financed more than 3,500 students, which equates to approximately $15 million in funds. “It is a gratifying experience to be honored for implementing a program that has influenced and enriched so many young students’ lives,” said Bill Millet. “The Student Tuition Aid Program would not be what it is today without the help of my TCA family, and I look forward to seeing the program continue to grow.” The Student Tuition Aid Program has played a prominent role in contributing to many successful professionals’ Millet’s family also provides a great contribution to TCA.
