Information Workbench™ and eCloudManager™ 6.0 now available

WALLDORF, Germany - March 10, 2015 - PRLog -- March 10, 2015, Walldorf – As of today, both Information Workbench and eCloudManager 6.0 from fluid Operations™ AG, a leader in semantic technologies, are available. The semantic integration platform Information Workbench bridges the gap between the implementation of individual requirements into state-of-the-art solutions and offers out-of-the-box solutions with standardized features in data management and data center & cloud management. eCloudManager is based on Information Workbench. This app delivers a unified view of a company’s entire data center. fluidOps is pushing its Platform as a Service and app strategy with this 6.0 release.

Information Workbench 6.0 comes with an optimized user interface. Conceptual mappings of the business logic in terms of ontologies and data in the sematic RDF format can now be managed with just a mouse click. A new standard widget for initiating and triggering actions and processes now make code writing redundant.

In the data management domain, Information Workbench delivers a revised query catalog which collects and manages standard queries as well customized queries into a central repository. These queries can be parameterized and re-used. This simplifies the process of using repeated queries where extremely large volumes of data are used.

eCloudManager 6.0 offers further innovations in the data center & cloud management domain. Patches in enterprise application landscapes can now automatically be installed alongside running IT operations without any downtime. In addition, landscapes can also be restored to a previous state using landscape snapshot backups that were created at a certain point in time.
