Campaign Launch Coincides with International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month
By: Leading Women
“While there are now 9.1 million women-owned businesses in the U.S. generating more than $1.4 trillion in revenue, only 21 of the Fortune 500 CEOS are women. This campaign aims to assist business women by continuously investing in the current and next generation of female leaders, while also giving their employers the tools they need to nurture successful business.” stated Lauren Spera of Media Planet.
The campaign launches today, with a content driven website and 450,000 printed inserts in USA Today, which will be distributed in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, DC.
“Leading Women’s global reach and depth of knowledge on closing the leadership gender gap at the top of corporations were the reasons we were approached by Media Planet to join the campaign,” said CEO, Susan Colantuono. “In the last 6 months, our organization has worked with organizations in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East to deliver leadership development programs for their high potential women.”
