DEDHAM, Mass. - March 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Acmeware, a leading provider of business intelligence using the MEDITECH Data Repository, is proud to announce that West Park Hospital in Cody, WY successfully submitted their Physician Quality Reporting System data electronically using OneView 4.1.  The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) is a reporting program that uses a combination of incentive payments and payment adjustments to promote reporting of quality information by eligible professionals (EPs). The program provides an incentive payment to practices with eligible professionals (identified on claims by their individual National Provider Identifier [NPI] and Tax Identification Number [TIN]), or group practices participating in the group practice reporting option (GPRO) who satisfactorily report data on quality measures for covered Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) services furnished to Medicare Part B Fee-for-Service (FFS) beneficiaries (including Railroad Retirement Board and Medicare Secondary Payer). Additionally, EPs and group practices that do not satisfactorily report or satisfactorily participate in the 2014 PQRS program year will be subject to a payment adjustment in 2016. http://www.acmeware.com/pqrs.aspx

“Although we were very late in starting to look at PQRS, Acmeware was able to pull data for us and create a similar dashboard to what we look at for MU.  We have reviewed this data and submitted it through QualityNet” according to Nicole Hobbs, Physician Clinics Director at West Park Hospital District. “As we plan for MU and PQRS in 2015 we will be using Acmeware for all of our reporting (MU, PQRS for all providers – inpatient, ED, and clinic).    If you’re looking for an easier way to review and report MU and PQRS data from Meditech or LSS then I would highly recommend Acmeware.  They have been very easy to work with and very responsive to any questions we have.”

“Acmeware continues to lead the way in quality measurement reporting and is the first Meditech CEHRT vendor to successfully submit PQRS measures electronically on CMS QualityNet.  West Park submitted clinical quality measures for 12 EP’s satisfying the payment adjustment and payment incentive total requirements. This accomplishment demonstrates our commitment to quality reporting and why healthcare organizations are partnering with Acmeware to improve care quality and outcomes by using OneView as a single integrated quality reporting platform” said Bill Presley, Manager of Software Products and Infrastructure at Acmeware. http://www.acmeware.com/products.aspx
