Storment Named ‘Top Doc’ for Third Consecutive Year

LAFAYETTE, La. - Feb. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Local Reproductive Endocrinologist Dr. John Storment was named one of Louisiana’s Best Doctors by Louisiana Life Magazine for the third year in a row.

Dr. Storment was selected to the annual list of the state’s leading doctors in Louisiana Life’s November/December 2014 issue. The magazine used the services of Best Doctors, Inc., the pre-eminent organization at gathering professional peer ratings. As part of its nationwide survey, the company interviewed more than 45,000 doctors. Officials at Best Doctors contacted each doctor from their database and asked the same question: "If you or a loved one needed a doctor in your specialty, and you couldn't treat them yourself, to whom would you refer them?" Doctors also confidentially evaluate doctors in related specialties and recommend those they feel excel in specific areas of medicine.

Dr. Storment works with couples to find hopeful solutions for having a child. He is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He also serves as the Medical Director of the FertilityAnswers Network — overseeing all four infertility clinics in the network, which is centered in Lafayette.

After three years with the Fertility Institute of New Orleans, Dr. Storment established his medical practice in Lafayette in 2002. Dr. Storment is affiliated with Lafayette Surgicare Surgical Center, located on the Women's & Children's Hospital campus, where he performs almost all his surgical procedures. His current research projects involve evaluation and treatment of endometriosis and infertility.
